Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the AI Call mobile application ("App") or website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site.
These Terms apply to all users of AI Call, including free users, subscribers, and visitors to the site. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AI Call.
The Service
AI Call provides a real-time phone call translation service that enables users to communicate across language barriers. The App works by processing spoken audio from both sides of a phone call and delivering translated audio in real time.
Service availability
We strive to maintain a high level of service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Translation quality may vary depending on language pair, audio quality, connection speed, and background noise. AI Call is a tool to assist communication — it is not a certified legal or medical interpreter.
Supported languages
AI Call currently supports 100+ languages. The list of supported languages may change over time. Some language pairs may produce higher-quality translations than others.
AI voice clone
When you use the AI voice clone feature, AI Call generates a voiceprint from your speech and uses it to deliver translated speech in your own voice. By using voice clone, you agree to the additional terms in AI Voice Clone below and to our Privacy Policy.
Free and paid features
Some features are available for free; others require a subscription. We reserve the right to change which features are free or paid at any time, with reasonable notice.
Your Account
You may use limited features of AI Call without an account. To access the full service, you may be required to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts for automated or non-human use.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at support@shaling.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use AI Call only for lawful purposes. You may not use the App to:
- Record, intercept, or store calls without the consent of all parties (where required by law)
- Harass, threaten, or harm other individuals
- Impersonate another person or entity, including by cloning, mimicking, or synthesizing the voice of any person who has not given you explicit consent
- Use the AI voice clone feature to defraud, deceive, extort, or manipulate any person — including bypassing voice-based identity verification, "vishing," romance or grandparent scams, or generating fake evidence
- Generate non-consensual intimate, sexual, or harassing content from a cloned voice; generate political disinformation, election interference, or other deceptive deepfake content
- Disable, obscure, alter, or work around any AI-generated voice disclosure that AI Call presents to call recipients
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the App
- Use the App to facilitate illegal activity, fraud, or deception
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, model weights, or voiceprints from the App
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its translation output commercially without written permission
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Call recording laws
It is your responsibility to comply with applicable laws regarding call recording and monitoring in your jurisdiction. AI Call does not provide legal advice on call recording requirements.
AI Voice Clone
The AI voice clone feature is optional. By enabling it, you agree to the additional terms in this section. The full data-handling rules — including consent, storage, retention, and deletion — are in our Privacy Policy.
You must clone only your own voice
You may only use voice clone with your own voice. You may not use, upload, record, or otherwise submit the voice of any other person — including public figures, family members, or call counterparties — without their explicit, informed, written permission. You are solely responsible for obtaining any such permission and for any claim arising from a missing or invalid permission.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use AI voice clone. We may at any time require you to re-confirm your age, your identity, or your consent.
Permitted use
You may use voice clone only to deliver translated speech in your own voice during your own AI Call sessions. Voice clone output is for personal communication and is not intended for, and may not be used for, broadcasting, recording for distribution, voice-acting work, advertising, voice fonts in third-party apps, or any commercial production.
Prohibited use
The prohibitions in Acceptable Use apply with full force to voice clone. Without limiting that section, you specifically agree not to use voice clone to: (i) impersonate any other person; (ii) bypass any voice-based authentication, banking verification, KYC, or government identity check; (iii) commit or facilitate fraud, extortion, or scams of any kind; (iv) generate sexual, harassing, threatening, or hateful content; (v) generate political disinformation, election interference, or other deceptive content involving real people; or (vi) defame any person or organization.
Required disclosure to call recipients
When you place a call using voice clone, AI Call provides an in-call indicator and may provide a spoken or visual notice where technically feasible. You agree not to disable, obscure, or work around this disclosure. Removing or interfering with the disclosure is itself a material breach of these Terms.
Output is synthetic and may be imperfect
Cloned-voice output is synthesized by an AI model. It may not perfectly match your real voice, may contain artefacts, mispronunciations, or unintended emotional tone, and may be detected or rejected as synthetic by the listener or by anti-fraud systems. Voice clone is not a form of identity verification and may not be used as proof of identity in any legal, financial, medical, governmental, or contractual setting.
License you grant us
You retain ownership of your voice and your voiceprint. By enabling voice clone you grant AI Call a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to generate, store, and use your voiceprint solely to provide the voice clone feature to you. The license terminates automatically when you withdraw consent or delete your voiceprint, after which we will permanently destroy your voiceprint as described in the Privacy Policy. We will not use your voiceprint to train general-purpose AI models, will not sell or license it to third parties, and will not use it to identify or profile you.
Suspension and termination of voice clone
We may suspend or permanently disable your access to voice clone, and delete the underlying voiceprint, without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have violated this section, the Acceptable Use section, applicable law, or the rights of any third party. Suspension or deletion of your voiceprint does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
Your indemnity for voice clone misuse
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Call and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, damage, fine, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of voice clone, your use of voice clone with a voice you did not have the right to use, or your interference with the AI-generated voice disclosure.
Subscriptions & Payments
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the frequency selected (monthly or annual).
Free trials
We may offer free trial periods. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will continue to have access until then. Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Apple or Google, not AI Call directly.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Intellectual Property
AI Call and all its content, features, and technology — including the App, logo, design, and translation engine — are owned by AI Call and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you input into AI Call (e.g., saved transcripts) and of your own voice. By using the App, you grant AI Call a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service. The separate, narrower license that applies specifically to your voiceprint is described in AI Voice Clone.
Feedback
If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions about the App, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution.
Disclaimers
AI Call is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
- We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
- AI Call is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial interpretation services.
- We do not warrant that AI voice clone output will sound identical to your natural voice, will be undetectable as synthetic speech, or will be accepted by any listener or system. Voice clone output is not a form of identity verification.
Use AI Call at your own risk. We are not responsible for any misunderstandings, errors, or consequences arising from translation inaccuracies or from synthetic voice output.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Call shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, business, or goodwill — arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to AI Call in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you are a free user.
Termination
You may stop using AI Call at any time by deleting the App and your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Upon termination for violation of these Terms, any remaining credits, subscription time, or prepaid balance in your account will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration rather than litigation, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.
Continued use of AI Call after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
